Chapter Checklist

Chapter Mascot(s)

Be sure to bring in your stuffed pals! Beware the mascot stealing tradition… Please remember that this is just a game. There should not be any fights or roughhousing for mascots, especially if there are young children playing with them. If you successfully steal a mascot, remember to either: get the return address of its home chapter, plan a trip over to their school, or safely bring it back at the following convention.

Chapter Voting Delegates

Each chapter should have two voting delegates. In most cases, this is your chapter’s Member-at-Large and Chapter President. If one or neither are attending convention, your chapter president should inform the National President and National Secretary via email of the brothers your chapter wishes to appoint as voting delegates. During convention, the chapter voting delegates are responsible for representing their home chapter and voting on their behalf.

Digital Scrapbook

Each chapter should be compiling a scrapbook of things that have happened since last convention. At convention, National Officers and Board of Trustees members will vote on which chapter they think produced the best scrapbook. The chapter with the most votes will win our “Price-less Memories” competition and receive a banner commemorating that for the year. This banner must be returned at convention the following year.

Eight Physical Copies of Informal Rituals

Has your chapter changed any of your informal rituals? Copies of these rituals cannot be sent digitally, and must be handed in as hard copies.
